The incline Bed Adjustable Elevating Insert is easy to install and is designed properly so that it safely elevates the bed. Anyone with acid reflux should purchase one of these for their bed to help alleviate their problem. It really works. The frame is very sturdy and fits securely under your existing box spring and over the metal frame of the bed. The instructions for assembly are not very well written, but it is easy to figure out how to put it together with the aid of the diagrams.

I actually ended up buying this frame with my bed from the local store; however, I was going to order here at Amazon (Amazon didn't have the mattresses I wanted and the local guy beat the price). I wanted to write this review simply because the frame has been a great purchase, no matter where you buy it. The price at Amazon is very good, too. Here's a few items worth mentioning about the bed. In all, these items add up to the value of the extra money you'll pay for this frame.

My wife and I both have bad backs, mine from arthritis and her's from a failed back surgery. She spends a lot of time in bed because of her new disability (thanks Doc for your incompetence!). So finding a decent combination of mattress and adjustable frame was a must for us. We had looked at the Leggett & Platt frames at several stores, and new that the S-cape series had many features we wanted. I purchased this product to use as a platform for an air mattress for guests. When not in use, it is stored with the mattress in a closet, which is very convenient. The unit is very sturdy, easy to assemble and provides a solid platform for the mattress. We've used it twice now for week long visits, one of which was my 84 year old parents. Everyone was happy with the bed and its comfort and stability. I'm very pleased with this product.

Having just purchased a new, and larger, mattress, I realized I needed a new frame. The two things I really liked about this bed frame was the fact that it had not only a vertical center support, but also a horizontal center support, and the fact that it is NOT on casters. There is nothing more annoying than bumping into your bed and having it roll away.... Anyway, here's the run down.

This frame arrived within two weeks of purchase. As others have stated in their reviews, the box did indeed arrive in HORRIBLE condition. Not only did the box have several holes, it was bent (thankfully the end with the clamps and legs, NOT the frame itself) and completely wrapped in industrial plastic wrap. However, the frame was NOT damaged and all of the clamps and screws were intact and still in their bag.

Set up was fairly easy, as in I did it by myself. Again, as stated in other reviews, place the clamps on the arms FIRST, two for each joint, before you try to overlap... Read more

We had a 4 coaster bed frame before that was really really old and the old bed to go with it that was all sunken in the middle, it was horrible. So we went out and bought a brand news sealy posterpedic mattress and box spring well the old frame had the new bed sinking in the middle in no time at all ( about a week later). that was horrible and totally defeated the whole reason for buying a new bed in the first place.
We bought this frame because it had the most legs ( actually legs, not wheels) and it had the extra support both vertical and horizontal. It was not hard to put together, the clamps are a little tricky and we had to hammer some of the legs into their supports ( kinda a tight fit) but easy enough ( I wouldn't have tried to do it myself)
Well once we had it fitted to the bed ( queen size took us about 20-30 minutes) and everything put back together the bed was totally transformed. We noticed the sinking in the middle was gone completely and the bed was firmer... Read more

Now, granted, this is only MY experience, but I do want to share. When I received the package, it looked like it had been through quite the battle: about a third of the box was practically shredded and crushed. When I opened it, I saw that the actual frame had been scraped a bit, as a result. No big deal, honestly- it's a frame, I don't really mind. I'm generally not hard to please. Unfortunately, upon opening the box, I found that five of the leg pieces (part that touches/ protects the floor) were missing. Yes; FIVE. I assume that the end of the box that had been shredded/ slightly crushed also happened to be the end in which the leg pieces were packed.. I emailed the company and they informed me that because I made the purchase through Amazon, that I would need to contact them. Once I contacted Amazon, I was told that I could either get a partial refund or have the frame shipped back.
